York City Knights have tonight been given a home tie against Super League side Crusaders in the fourth round draw of the Carnegie Challenge Cup.
The draw was made at the Halliwell Jones Stadium, the home of cup holders Warrington, and pitted the Championship One side against the top-flight Welsh outfit who are now bossed by former Great Britain coach Brian Noble.
The tie, pencilled in for Sunday, April 18, could well see Welsh rugby union legend Gareth Thomas play one of his first games of competitive rugby league for Crusaders after his recent sensational switch to the 13-a-side code.
