YORK City Knights boss James Ford is dreaming of another big day in the Challenge Cup limelight to match last season's money-spinning trip to St Helens.

The draw for the fifth round will be held tonight, with the 12 fourth-round winners going into the hat alongside four Super League clubs – the bottom four from last year's final standings. The other eight Super League clubs enter in round six.

Ford, whose men beat League One rivals Keighley 20-12 at Bootham Crescent on Sunday to make it through, is primarily hoping for another home tie but, having enjoyed a trip to Langtree Park in the sixth round last year, admits a similar scenario this term would not go amiss.

"It would be nice to draw a Super League club at home and get a big gate at Bootham Crescent again," he said, when asked if he had a preference.

"If not, we'd like a winnable tie at home and in the next round get one of the massive Super League clubs at home, giving the club good financial reward for looking after the players as well as they have done."

Controversial footballer Joey Barton was lined up to conduct tonight's draw, along with Wigan and England star Sam Tomkins, but he has had to go on a training camp with his Burnley team-mates so his place will be taken by three-time Lance Todd Trophy winner Sean Long.

It will be shown live on Sportsday on the BBC News Channel from 6.30pm.

York are one of four teams from League One in the hat – along with Rochdale, Toulouse and Hunslet, who hammered Doncaster in a Friday night surprise.

The four Super League teams are Hull KR, Salford, Wakefield and Widnes, the early leaders in this year's standings after six wins from seven.

They will be joined by seven Championship sides in Batley, Dewsbury – who shocked Bradford in the tie of the fourth round – Featherstone, Halifax, Leigh, Oldham and Sheffield.

One community club, Lock Lane from Castleford, have also made it through.
