YORK City Knights’ 2013 merchandise has been selling well in a boost to club coffers, says general manager Ian Wilson.
The club held their annual season launch last night in Bar 13 at Huntington Stadium, when supporters picked up new gear and were also introduced to the 2013 squad by new head coach Gary Thornton.
As reported by The Press, the home shirt is in club colours, being predominantly navy with a traditional rugby league ‘V’ of sky blue and white. The away strip is new – mainly hot pink with black and white sides.
Wilson said: “Supporters have taken to both kits.
“The away kit is different this year and it seems to have gone down well. We’ve had a lot of positive comments.”
