REGARDING the question of Lorraine Leighton getting a massive £250,000 after taking an Ecstasy tablet.
If I were a Health Secretary I would rush through a law stating quite unequivocally that where a person deliberately takes action to damage their own health, for example through smoking, drugs, and so on, this nullifies the spirit of the health service. Under these circumstances nobody would be allowed to sue the NHS.
