YORK City’s drive for Wembley success has been backed by Mercedes Benz.

The Clifton Moor-based dealership will provide tomorrow’s York City man of the match in the FA Trophy final against Stevenage with the use of an SLK 280 sports car for a long weekend.

City boss Martin Foyle will nominate the prize winner after the game, and he added: “It will be a nice prize for one of the players. The lads are delighted and it’s added to the excitement on the run-up to the final.

“We’ve got to build on these relations with local businesses. I think the club has lost out in that respect over recent years and, if we can attract new sponsorship, it can only help.”

Mercedes Benz North Yorkshire group corporate sales manager, Nick Lawn said, “We wanted to give the City players an added incentive to do well in the final and hopefully bring the FA Trophy back to York.”

I've seen Brodie commonly walking from the general direction of the train station during the week, which would suggest that unless he drives Thomas The Tank Engine he's not got a motor.

Richard's a lovely guy with healthy farmers son cheeks, don't tell me you've never noticed the tractor in the car park by the turnstiles to the Shippo Rd

Also happen to know that Richard is a very good Quidditch player where he plays in the position of seeker for the Purple cardinals (this explains his lack of car driving ability) Golden Snatch anyone?
