Jamal Fyfield signs new contract at York City

DEFENDER Jamal Fyfield is the latest player to sign up for York City's Football League revolution.

The 23-year-old has put pen to paper this afternoon on a one-year deal with an option to extend.

Fyfield played a significant role in the Minstermen's successful campaign last season, performing at both left-back and centre-back as the Minstermen secured promotion.

Meanwhile, City also revealed they have arranged a pre-season friendly against Premier League outfit Sunderland at Bootham Crescent on August 7 (kick off 7.30pm). Ticket information is to follow.
