One-year deal for former Minsterman
4:03pm Thursday 7th June 2012 in News
By Tony Kelly, Deputy sports editor
YORK City have signed former Minsterman Lee Bullock.
The 31-year-old midfielder, who made 171 appearances for City between 1998 and 2004 before joining Cardiff City, has signed a one-year deal back at Bootham Crescent.
It is understood that Bullock, who also played for Hartlepool, Bury and latterly Bradford City, is seen as one of the prime contenders for a midfield holding role back at his first club.

Welcome back Lee, I was always impressed with your stile of play plus you always had a eye for goal. On another note I saw Ashley Chambers walking into Phones 4u in Selby today.

will be fantastic to give him a standing ovation when he runs out at BC for his first game back, an honest pro who always gave 100%.
can't believe he's only 31 by the way?! has he been going to the Obafemi Martins school of birth certificates???

However, his main attribute was his stamina so hopefully any energy lost through age will be more than made up by experience. He's the same age as Scott Kerr.

I heard last season that Lee has wanted to come back to the club for a while so he obviously has York City at heart.
I'll go with Gary Mills opinion on this one.

Just had a nosey on a Bradford forum, they all seem to wish him well and say he'll be a good signing for us.

anybody know who has signed new contracts and who are to be releasedof former players i would like andy bishop back

Got beat 3 nil. Think all over by half time and the police dogs had greeted us. Horrible trip.
Chris Smith, Jon Shaw, Lee Bullock and Jon Parkin all featured that day.

Have a word with yourself, he has been bagging goals wherever he has been remember Burton etc He is a welcome addition to anyones squad especially if played in a 442 which is my only worry with this possible signing.
As for ex players coming back, who cares welcome them like any new signing. Mills would have done his homework so cut them some slack. I for one would love to see the massive Parkin back at the club (Shame we cant afford him right now) someone of his size ability and experience for front or back would agai be a welcome acquisition. Forget the past and look to the future guys!
