The capacity of the North Stand at Mansfield is 1,900 so I expect to see the allocation increased depending on demand... which I expect to far outstrip supply.

It is a shame that the tickets are collection only as this restricts people accessing them who are live away from York. Is there no way to arrange collection from Mansfield?

Let's get them beat at BC and then it'll be all to play for at Field Mill.

Is the home game tomorrow all ticket?

We had nearly 1400 at Darlo in Jan I am so sure that demand will outstrip supply here.
Mansfield are expecting to sell all their 1700 for tomorrow. Should be 7,000 gate.

Sam, I don't think it's all-ticket, but the communication from the club has been poor, with quite a bit of ambiguous wording in its announcements - for example, I don't know how many tickets non-season ticket holders will be able to buy tomorrow, and no one seems to be answering the ticket office phone, so I'll just have to take my chance!

Slightly off topic. Am I correct in thinking that away goals aren't counted? Well are counted but not decisive. You know what I mean!!!

Zetkin, it is general sale tomorrow so one would assume you can buy as many tickets as your heart desires.

Al-YCFC away goals do not count in BSBP Play Offs.

God knows, the communication and actually making a decision has been appalling.

Ridiculous that you must collect from the club. You are looking at SEVERAL hundred fans wanting to attend from outside the City

nicko75 I believe this is to reward the loyalty of the fans that attend the home game. As previously mentioned the away game will be over subscribed, so they are trying to honour the fans that make the effort to attend the home game.

The game isn't all ticket tomorrow at the moment but this depends on what the police say, so I would imagine if it is getting close to capacity it will become all ticket, I would get tickets to be on the safe side.

Also, if mansfield sell out their allocation, Police are likely to decide its all ticket.

@Duffy - the decision making here is the responsibility of NYPD, not the club. The club can only communicate the position as it stands...which they have done.

But have they ? Nothing on the official site giving any instruction which is why many people don't know where they stand.

there was not many people queing for away tickets or indeed home tickets compared with yestereday when i had a 20 minute wait. straight upto the window at lunch time and out again. i would have thought there will be still plenty of away tickets left when they go on sale in the morning to the public.

I don't think this is right. They are not posting tickets due to the short time frame to get them posted and then received between sale dates and match date. It is understandable given the time frames involved.

I would say that picking a ticket up from Field Mill should be an option.

Mansfield sold 1,200 so far for tomorrow night. 500 tickets still to sell at their end.

I expect all York away tickets will be sold, for the game at Morecambe a few years back supply exceeding demand. Remember tickets can be paid for over the phone and then collected at the club so that might also be a reason there was not a long queue, people can collect them on Wednesday when they go to the game. There are almost 1,400 season ticket holders at city and only 1,500 tickets allocated for the match. After season ticket holders think of all the people connected to the club that will want one, also the outcome of the game on Wednesday will have an impact on the ticket demand too.

These days with the technology that is out there it should be possible to present an E Ticket to the game, just print it off and then scan the barcode at the gate or present it to the ticket office at Mansfied with your booking reference number in exchange for your ticket! Perhaps its also to do with the accounting side since there will be a split of the profits from the game!

Don't know why they didn't just sell the away tickets on Thurs/Friday to save the stress in the early part of the week trying to sell 3 lots of tickets at the same time. We would then know the score from the first leg too.

The Legend Of Keith - Here is where we will agree to disagree. The allocation of away tickets are currently at York so picking them up from Mansfield would psoe a similar logistical posting nightmare.

The communication between club and fans has been great I feel and they're trying to answer as many questions as possible in what can only be described as a difficult situation.
Only 2 week days between the end of the season and 1st game and the police dragging their heels regarding their decisions it's been a great effort by the staff down there.
Thanks YCFC.

I feel sorry for the club because we have three big matches coming up but JamesHinch has it right they should have delayed trying to sell the away leg tickets until after the home leg. Season ticket holders thursday general sale friday would have made things so much easier.

Its because we didn't know who we were playing.

The home club prints the tickets; it is them you are actually forming a contract with. Last Friday we didn't know whether we would be selling tickets on behalf of Mansfield or Wrexham.

Mansfield have 400 tickets left for tonight so it won't be all ticket.
Rumour that we have sold 1,000 out of the 1,500 2nd leg tickets already, so get there early today.

The Legend Of Keith says...

Mansfield have sold 1,300 tickets for tonight with 400 still unsold. I was expecting more but maybe the short notice and Wednesday night is proving too much for some of them.

I expect York to sell what's left of their full allocation this evening. Let's hope Mansfield provide some more for us.
