STEVENAGE Borough will travel to York City looking for only their third away win of the season.

The Hertfordshire side have managed only two victories on their travels during 2014/15 - against AFC Wimbledon in August and at Dagenham & Redbridge on Boxing Day.

Their record on the road is the sixth-worst in Sky Bet League Two and Graham Westley’s men were also dumped out of the FA Cup at Isthmian League part-timers Maidstone United this term.

Despite such travel sickness, however, Borough have moved to within one point and one place of the division’s play-off positions, having won four and drawn one of their last five fixtures.

Tomorrow’s visitors will still be without centre-backs Jon Ashton and Harry Worley.

The experienced Ashton, 32, broke his leg last month, while ex-Chelsea trainee Worley suffered cruciate ligament damage in August following his summer switch from Newport County.

Rookie striker Connor Calcutt is Stevenage’s only other injury absentee with Westley having a few decisions to make up front.

Ex-City forward Chris Beardsley started last weekend’s 2-1 home win over Wimbledon, but was replaced just past the hour by former Crewe and Burton forward Calvin Zola, who is back in the frame after a spell out with injury.

Beardsley, now 30, has not netted in six games since mid-November and his place, along with that of fellow frontman Adam Marriott, could also come under pressure from seven-goal leading marksman Charlie Lee.

Like Zola, the ex-Gillingham and Peterborough attacker was used as a substitute against the Wombles.

But Ryan Brunt, who was on loan at Bootham Crescent earlier in the season, will not feature for the visitors.

The Bristol Rovers target man has returned to his parent club after extending his 22-month run without a goal to a 39th game during a five-match loan spell with Stevenage.

Brunt is one of 30 players that Westley has used this season.

Stevenage (probable): Day, Henry, Okimo, Wells, Charles, Whelpdale, Pett, Walton, Parrett, Zola, Lee.
