Pupils to have poetry published

TALENTED pupils from a Spa school have been chosen to have their poetry published.

Children from Cutnall Green First School, School Lane, entered the Young Writers’ Power of Poetry competition and four of them have had their work selected for publication.

The work of Chloe Narbonne, nine, Taniesha Hudlin, eight, Daniel Wylie, eight, and Lucy Carter, nine, will all be printed.

Miss Foster, teacher at the village school, said: “The children absolutely love writing poetry as part of their weekly lessons. It gives them a chance to use their imagination, express themselves and use creative language. We are very proud to have had four of them chosen for publication.”
