York City denied by late leveller at Rotherham United
9:45pm Tuesday 26th February 2013 in News
YORK City were denied a much-needed npower League Two victory as Rotherham United netted an injury-time equaliser at the New York Stadium.
The Minstermen looked to be heading for a 1-0 victory after Matty Blair's 63rd minute goal, but Daniel Nardiello struck in the fourth minute of injury time to snatch a point.
Results elsewhere mean City are now only four points above the relegation zone, but it could have been so much better.
Striker Jason Walker hit the top of the crossbar in the first half, while Blair was denied by former City goalkeeper Andy Warrington on 56 minutes.
When he broke clear again seven minutes later, Blair rounded Warrington and gave the visitors a precious lead.
However, the Millers piled on the pressure in the latter stages and Ben Pringle's cross was turned in by Nardiello.

Just not good enough! if any other manager saying at the start of the season they wanted promotion, went 10 games without a win, and 4 points off the relegation zone they would be sacked months ago!!
MILLS OUT!!!!
We all know where you stand, thank you.

1-1 against Rotherham is a good result, but feels like a loss with conceding in the 93rd minute.
We are now FOUR points above relegation. It's truly brown trousers time.
