Not a bad transfer window for us so far and fingers crossed they'll all settle well.

WITH just over a week before the transfer window closes, Institute pair Dean Jarvis and Michael McCrudden could be on their way out.
Unfortunately any move across to England could all depend on the weather changing.
The talented duo travelled to York City last week to train with the League Two side, however the Minstermen boss Gary Mills would like to have another look at the pair, after they were unable to play in a match type situation and could only train indoors.
With the terrible snowy conditions continuing the chances of the pair getting back across in time before the deadline are getting slimmer and slimmer.
It’s also thought that a mid-table English Premier League club are also looking at Jarvis.
Mills, who also talked to former Derry City striker David McDaid this week, did confirm that he’s interested in both players.
“They both done well and I’m currently talking to Paul about certainly circumstances, so yes something might happen before the deadline next week,” conceded Mills.
“Unfortunately the snow disrupted our prepartions, which was disappointing, we had arranged a game against Sunderland, but that was cancelled because of the weather, but both players certainly did well and we’ll see if something might happen before the transfer window closes.
“As for David we have offered him something we are now at the stage of waiting to see if he puts pen to paper.”
’Stute boss Paul Kee does admit he may lose the services of the duo.
“Both Michael and Dean enjoyed it at York, now they have to monitor the next eight days in regards the weather, but I can also confirm that one or two other teams are interested in Jarvis,” he admitted.
“We possibly could see both Michael and Dean leave before the transfer deadline, the weather is going to play a part if anything is going to happen, in fairness to the two boys they have put in a good shift with the team all season, so if they were to go then it would be a big loss for us.
Kee feels the Waterside men could lose more of their top young talented players in the not to distant future.
“We see ourselves as a developed club,” he stated.
“Obviously for the young players at the club, both Michael and Dean have excelled and I’m sure other players at our club in the next six months, will too get a chance at playing across the water.

Just watched a YouTube clip of David McDaid and he doesn't look all that tall. Scored a couple of goals though, so hope he proves a good signing.

Never heard of him on football manager. Probably rubbish. Sort it out Mills.

I stll think Reed has a part to play. He is, pure and simple, a super-sub at Div 2 level. Though I can understand why no professional footballer wants that tag.
The wage budget at York suggests he will be on his way into 'Blue Square' world. Pity.
