Well thats a surprise, but I expect there could well be another inspection tomorrow if that threatened snow arrives. I see that City have loaned Tom Platt out again, this time to Halifax Town.

i am also quite surprised at this, particularly with snow forecast for tonight. lets hope we do get it on as aldershot's fans have a long way to travel if it's called off tomorrow!

I doubt if Aldershot can get there ! I live in the Midlands and its about 8 inches deep already !!

Pleasantly surprised, so now looking forward to the match! If we can avoid the worst of the snow/freezing temperatures forecast for this afternoon/evening/to
-morrow morning, the pitch could well stay playable. But, the possibility of snow/ice on terracing could be a big consideration, though fingers crossed. That said, there must be a likelihood of another pitch inspection to-morrow morning and of course, Aldershot will by then have travelled-up/stayed over and any postponement will cause problems to everyone, especially City, who will have to stump-up for all the costs.

Good news this. There is snow on the way but let's see if we can get supporters together to sweep the snow off the covers in the morning like we used to do. There may be a safety issue with snow and ice on the away terraces but I'm sure the Aldershot fans can be accommodated in the Pop Stand.
