NHS Somerset health advisors are holding an awareness campaign about the dangers of failing to protect against the sun at the Somerset County Cricket Ground in Taunton on Sunday.
NHS Somerset has been chosen as one of eight primary care trusts to pilot a new national system of direct payments for personal health budgets.
This will allow PCTs to give the money for someone's care directly to them, allowing individuals to decide how, where and from whom they receive their healthcare.
