BACK-TO-BACK man-of-the-match displays have seen captain Chris Smith move up to joint-seventh on the Player of the Year leaderboard.
Smith drew level with fellow defender Jamal Fyfield after collecting three points as our star man during Saturday’s 2-2 draw at Darlington.
The other points went to Paddy McLaughlin (two) and Ashley Chambers (one) as our second and third-highest rated players respectively.
Smith, meanwhile, finished joint-second in The Press Player of the Month standings for January after also picking up the two bonus points on offer for that contest having received the most man-of-the-match votes for the Darlington game from visitors to our website.
He finished behind Matty Blair in the monthly standings, which represents back-to-back awards for the former Kidderminster winger, who also took the honours in December.
Top scorer Jason Walker was our Player of the Month for August and September before sharing the October prize with Paddy McLaughlin. The November winner was midfielder Scott Kerr.
