LEFT-BACK Marcus Williams has today joined York City on loan until the end of the season from Vanarama National League side Guiseley.
Doncaster-born Williams, 31, has played more than250 games in the Football League for Scunthorpe United, Sheffield United, Peterborough and Reading.
He joined Guiseley at the start of the 2016-17 season after a spell in the Indian Super League with Kerala Blasters.
Williams could make his first appearance in a City shirt this afternoon when the reserves host Hartlepool United in Central League North at Bootham Crescent (1pm).
Defender Connor Brown, meanwhile, has completed a permanent switch to Bootham Crescent after playing four games on loan from Guiseley.
