NATIONAL League North title contenders Harrogate Town missed the chance to leapfrog Salford City at the summit when they suffered a surprise 2-1 midweek loss at Nuneaton Town.
Simon Weaver's side remain second in the division, two points behind the leaders - and 12 ahead of York City, who sit just outside the promotion play-off places.
Nuneaton lifted themselves out of the relegation zone thanks to goals from Jordan Nicholson and Ashley Chambers. Terry Kennedy had equalised for Town just before half-time.
The division's only other Tuesday night fixture produced the best result for the Minstermen - Kidderminster Harriers were held to a 0-0 draw at Chorley, keeping the sixth-placed Harriers within touching distance of City and the Magpies three points behind.
