STAYING: Jon Parkin has agreed terms at York City for the 2017/18 National League North campaign
TOP scorer Jon Parkin has signed a new one-year contract at York City, ahead of next season's National League North campaign.
Parkin rattled in 15 goals for the Minstermen, following his December arrival from League Two outfit Newport.
The 35-year-old veteran also netted four times for the Welsh club this term, meaning he is one shy of 20 goals for the season ahead of Sunday's FA Trophy final clash against his old club Macclesfield.
