WOKING entertain York City having taken ten points from a possible 12.

The Cards’ form means Garry Hill’s men now know victory against the Minstermen will guarantee their National League place next term.

Woking have also won four of their last seven home games and only suffered one defeat in that time, going down 4-2 to Maidstone.

Hill’s teams’ strengths lie in attack with a record of 64 league goals representing the best haul outside the division’s top-eight teams.

In contrast, a tally of 78 conceded is the National League’s second-highest figure, behind already-relegated Southport (92).

Gozie Ugwu has already hit 20 goals this season and netted three times in his last four games, including the match-winning penalties in each of his club’s last two fixtures.

The 23-year-old attacker has been a revelation following his summer move from Wycombe, where he only scored twice in 32 games last term.

Surprisingly, though, Ugwu only regained his starting place during last weekend’s 3-2 win at Chester, having spent a month contributing from the bench as he competes with Jamie Lucas to partner first-choice frontman Delano Sam-Yorke.

The side that faced Chester contained eight of the starting XI that featured in the Minstermen’s 4-1 win over Woking back in August, with Sam-Yorke, Kane Ferdinand and Terell Thomas the exceptions.

Centre-back Ismail Yakubu (knee) is doubtful, though, as Woking bid to win three straight games for a first time since Boxing Day 2015.

Team (probable): Poke, Caprice, Thomas, Saah, Jones, Saraiva, Murtagh, Ferdinand, Ralph, Sam-Yorke, Ugwu.
