CLUB CALL: York City are appealing for volunteers to clean up Bootham Crescent
YORK City are looking for volunteers to help clean up Bootham Crescent after tomorrow’s FA Trophy quarter-final against Brackley.
The Minstermen’s ground staff are hoping for assistance to prepare for the following day’s York City Knights versus Egremont Rangers third round Ladbrokes Challenge Cup tie.
Anybody interested in helping should email City’s supporter liaison officer Phil Howden at slo@yorkcityfootballclub.co.uk The works party will gather near the groundsman’s shed by the David Longhurst Stand exit gate, and volunteers will be provided with bin bags and litter pickers.
The clean-up is expected to take around an hour, depending on numbers.
