YORK City are offering four groups the chance to win a behind-the-scenes tour of Bootham Crescent.
The competition is open to any organisation, including grassroots teams, schools, local charities, businesses, guides, scouts, church groups and youth clubs, with anybody interested invited to put down in writing by the end of February why they would want to visit the famous old ground.
As part of the prize, which is being offered by the club’s Foundation and sponsors Benenden, groups will also receive a free football activity of their choice in the stadium’s on-site training facilities with options ranging from coaching, futsal, walking football or playing a match.
The tours would take place next month and will take winning groups into the inner sanctum of the club, including visits to the dressing room, players’ tunnel and pitch side.
Anybody from York or the wider Yorkshire region is invited to enter by emailing paula.ycfc@live.co.uk
