FORMER York City boss Gary Mills has applied for his old job at Bootham Crescent.
Mills, who parted company with National League rivals Wrexham this week, wants to take charge of the Minstermen again, having led the club to a historic Wembley double in 2012.
The former Nottingham Forest midfielder was sacked the following season after a run of 11 games without a win, but Press sources have confirmed that he has contacted his former club in view to replacing the departing Jackie McNamara.
