KYLE Letheren has jumped up to third in The Press Player of the Year standings.

The former Blackpool keeper (pictured below) was our man of the match during Tuesday night’s 6-1 debacle at Guiseley to earn three points towards the accolade.

Simon Heslop (two) and Danny Galbraith (one) won the dubious honours of being our second and third-highest rated performers respectively at the game.

Letheren also received the two bonus Player of the Month points available after topping our online man-of-the-match vote.

During last weekend’s 1-0 home defeat to Aldershot, The Press points went to our man-of-the-match Clovis Kamdjo (three), Matt Fry (two) and Danny Galbraith (one), with the bonus points shared between Richard Brodie and Kaine Felix.
