WELL, there’s nothing like putting the boot in when things go wrong.
Some of the players have not done well for York City this season, that is obvious, but was it really necessary for Jackie McNamara to make the comments reported in The Press on April 27?
If finding a new club is to prove difficult for them it will be doubly so now.
A manager should be able to show he can motivate his players whatever their ability. This has not been the case.
The club has gone from bad to worse since his arrival. He might be excited about next season but many loyal supporters are filled with dread.
If I renew my season ticket it will be with a heavy heart. I have yet to decide.
We have been through some bad times, I fear that this is yet another.
