MAIN sponsor Benenden hailed the strength of their link up with York City on the eve of the 2015/16 League Two campaign.
The York-based healthcare provider has been backing the Minstermen since 2012 and the firm declared they were “committed to the club and its future success”.

“It felt very workable and one of the main drivers behind us getting involved is the fact there are shared values between us. We as a business have community at our heart – and that is exactly how York City are; they are a community club.

“Not only are we main sponsor, we’re also very deeply involved in the club’s community work. Our own community team work with colleagues at York City to promote the benefits of sport – and in particular football - as part of a healthy lifestyle, to thousands of young people right across the city.”
