TICKETS for the Betway UK Snooker Championship's final and semi-finals will go on sale tomorrow from 10am.

The York Barbican-staged event, which will run from November 22 to December 4, will see Australian ace Neil Robertson defend his title, which he won by beating Liang Wenbo in the 2015 final after making a sensational 147 maximum break.

With 128 players competing over 12 days, the tournament remains second only to the World Championships at Sheffield's Crucible Theatre in terms of prestige with a history dating back to 1977.

It has been held in York since 2011 with other recent winners including Ronnie O'Sullivan, Mark Selby and Judd Trump.

General admission tickets went on sale last month and are being snapped up rapidly.

Fans wishing to book seats for the last two days of competition are warned to book swiftly to avoid disappointment.

For details, call 0844 854 2757 or visit www.worldsnooker.com/tickets Anybody who purchases tickets before the end of June will also benefit on a half-price offer on an alternative session or all-day ticket between the dates of Saturday, November 26 and Thursday, December 1.
