Despite a solid opening 15 minutes at Northallerton, York RI RUFC lapsed into too much turn-over ball resulting in them being punished at regular intervals as the hosts posted a 33-0 half time lead.
Renarkably the second-half remained scoreless despite RI playing uphill, the York visitors producing a more controlled display.
They passed up kickable penalties to attempt to score tries but only came close on twice. Seb Weir, Gus Smith and Fraser Land stood out in the Yorkshire Three encounter.
