Winter whiteout for rugby union fixtures

FROST and snow put paid to all the fixtures across rugby union’s Northern Divisions.

Malton & Norton’s game at Old Brodleians in North One East was postponed, along with York’s trip to Knottingley and Pocklington’s game at Scarborough in Yorkshire One.

Selby had been due to travel to Bradford Salem in Yorkshire Two, while York RI’s home game with Bramley Phoenix in Yorkshire Three was frozen out.

Nestlé Rowntree were also forced to call off their home game with Rotherham Clifton in Yorkshire Five.

Pocklington have rearranged their Scarborough game for this Saturday, February 11 (2.15pm).
