YORK RUFC’s under-10s capped off the first half of their season with an appearance at Headingley Stadium, where they showcased their new kits.

The team - sporting jerseys supplied by Hcomm - were invited to play on the pitch during the half-time interval of the Greene King Championship match between Yorkshire Carnegie and Nottingham.

Two York junior teams will have the chance to represent the club on the pitch in the coming weeks, with another set of U10s going back on Sunday, January 28 and a group of U11s playing on Sunday, February 10.

Both sides resume their seasons after the festive break tomorrow, when they travel to West Park Leeds.

Yorkshire Carnegie introduced the half-time games in the 2000-01 season as a community project for children of various age groups who play with Yorkshire clubs.
