YORK RI Ladies were crowned Women's NC North Two East champions this weekend - without even taking to the pitch!
Their scheduled rugby union fixture against Morpeth had to be declared a 'walk-over' win because the opposition did not have enough players to field a team.
Now, with only one game to play, they cannot be caught by second-placed Harrogate.
