YORK Railway Institute found life tough against Yorkshire Four promotion contenders Hemsworth at New Lane.
Although RI enjoyed a good first half, they conceded a penalty just before the interval which brought a kick for the corner.
The home side were caught on the hop and Hemsworth won the race for the touchdown to lead 10-0.
There was bad luck for the New Laners when three players suffered injuries, upsetting the balance of the game, and giving second-placed Hemsworth even more confidence.
Despite brave resistance from a tiring RI side, Hemsworth ran in three more tries and a penalty to win 32-0.
