OXFAM Crusaders are pictured, right, celebrating their breathtaking 36-34 final victory over Northern Exiles at the 56th annual Pock 7s tournament.

A crowd of almost 3,000 enjoyed six hours of non-stop sevens rugby union at Percy Road, with the final going down to the last play when the Exiles scored a try but missed the conversion that would have taken the game into sudden death extra time.

The Crusaders, who raise money and promote the Oxfam charity, beat Selby, Catterick Fijians and the Flying Coconuts en route to the final.

The Exiles, a team of former Pocklington Colts, put out PFC Olympiakos, hosts Pocklington and Newcastle Brookfield.

The plate competition also had an entertaining finale as Driffield beat Hull Ionians Hawks 34-19.
