Selby Warriors begin life under Kevin Fellows

Selby Warriors ARLC, with a new coach in Kevin Fellows at the helm, kick off their Pennine League division three season at Pontefract SSC on Saturday.

As reported by The Press, Fellows has taken over the first-team reins after Paul Helstrip became director of coaching. Former player Fellows is assisted by Helstrip’s number two, Matt Stephenson.

Meanwhile, as the summer season heads towards the run-in, Heworth ’s desperate search for a division two win continues at Widnes West Bank. York Acorn have no fixture in division one.

In the Yorkshire Men’s League, Acorn ‘A’ host Dewsbury Celtic ‘A’, and will give run-outs to a few first-teamers needing game-time, such as captain Tom Hill after his honeymoon, and Tim Elliot.

York Lokomotive and Heworth ‘A’ have no fixtures scheduled.
