Selby Warriors reach cup final

Selby Warriors reached the final of amateur rugby league’s York and District Cup after a 36-0 win at York Lokomotive.

It continues Selby’s run of success at a York level, having won this cup in 2010 and the York Accident Cup last year, competitions which are played in alternate years.

The Warriors have just finished their winter Pennine League division two season, while it was the Lokos’ first competitive game of their summer season ahead of their opening Yorkshire Men’s League match next weekend.
