York All Blacks continued their good form in the Women’s RL Yorkshire League division one by beating Huddersfield 28-8.
Centre Jenny Gorwood powered over, and, after the visitors went 8-6 up, loose-forward Bev Langhan bagged a brace, impressive centre Teri Chu crossed, hooker Natalie Hatfield squeezed over and scrum-half Katie Langhan, the player of the match, completed the try-scoring. Bev Langhan added two conversions. Second-rower Becky Blackburn also impressed.
