NEW EARSWICK All Blacks kick off April without a fixture in the Pennine League Championship division.

That is testament to the fact that, despite everything this winter has thrown at them, they have completed 13 matches already – the second highest in the division.

The erratic schedule means that the All Blacks have had little chance to build momentum, and will want to get back to winning ways quickly having lost to leaders Queensbury in their last outing in mid-March. Their next match is on April 9 at home to West Leeds.

SELBY WARRIORS have a chance of claiming a top-three spot or better in Pennine League division two.

The Warriors, who are fourth, will be aiming to gain a win over fifth placed Wyke tomorrow (2.30pm).

They have a five point buffer between themselves and Wyke but the West Yorkshire side have two games in hand. Selby are just two points behind third-placed Eastmoor.

In Division Four East, leaders SHERBURN BEARS have a tough test as they travel to meet Doncaster Toll Bar 'A' who are currently in third place.

The Bears are having a terrific season, having won all but one of their 13 matches. They are two points better off than nearest challengers Eastmoor 'A' but Sherburn have two games in hand.
