FORMER Leeds Rhinos and England captain Kevin Sinfield will be signing copies of his new book in York on Saturday.

Kevin Sinfield: My League Years In Words And Pictures, co-written by York-based journalist Peter Smith, was published by Great Northern Books last month.

The York signing session is at Waterstones, from 1pm to 2.30pm.

Oldham-born Sinfield captained Leeds through the greatest period in the rugby league club's history, leading them to seven Super League titles, the world championship and league leaders' shield three times and back-to-back Challenge Cups.

Only two players have scored more points in rugby league since the sport was founded 121 years ago and Sinfield is Super League's record appearance-maker.

Sinfield also polled more than 250,000 votes to finish as runner-up in 2015's BBC Sports Personality of the Year award.
