A RAFT of players will be returning for New Earswick All Black’s Pennine League Championship clash with King Cross Park at White Rose Avenue on Saturday.

Head coach Jack Stearman was without 14 squad members as his side were battered by Drighlington 84-6 in round two of the Barla National Cup last week.

But the return of the likes of Jo Jo Hnesh, Liam Gargan, Jack Sinclair and Chris Varley has left Stearman confident his side can pick up their first win of the league campaign on home soil.

“The squad is good enough and last week is forgotten about,” he said. “We have said we want to concentrate on the league and our two league fixtures have both been away from home.

“We’ve set our stall out to win our home games and we want to get a bit of confidence back in the lads.”

Elsewhere, in division four, Selby Warriors entertain Dewsbury Celtic and Sherburn Bears are also at home to Farnley Falcons.
