11:22am Tuesday 30th October 2012 in Rugby League
New Earswick ARLFC suffered their third Pennine League Championship defeat of the season losing 40-18 to King Cross Park.
Visitors King Cross raced into a 12-0 lead after nine minutes but All Blacks responded with centre Jack Sinclair crossing. Half-back Tom Holmes added the conversion.
All Blacks levelled five minutes from the break with Sinclair crossing for his second try converted by Holmes.
King Cross regained the lead with an unconverted, try but All Blacks hit the front with centre Adam Kirby powering over. The try was converted by Holmes.
However, King Cross took control when they ran in four converted tries to seal their victory.
The All Blacks man-of-the-match was full-back Joe Stearman, who was backed up well by second rower Chris Spain and half-back Holmes.
The defeat saw the All Blacks slip to fifth in the table.
In division three, Selby Warriors were locked in a 30-30 share-all at home to Littleborough, while the Warriors’ ‘A’ ranks fell 62-0 at Halifax Irish ‘A’ in division seven.
