OSBALDWICK athlete Chris Stephenson has been awarded a ‘100% me’ Spirit of the Games Award at the Sainsbury’s 2012 School Games at the Olympic Park in London.
He was one of two winners chosen from the 1,600 athletes at the three-day event.
The ‘100% me’ scheme is run by UK Anti-Doping, the UK’s national anti-doping organisation.
The youngster, who represented North East of England in the hammer throw, won the award for going out of his way to help an athlete with a visual impairment.
