FIVE star Tadcaster Grammar School are celebrating a remarkable swimming feat.
The school’s 35-strong swim squad scooped top honours in the Leeds & District Swimming Gala for the fifth year in succession.
“To score a hat-trick is fantastic, to win four times is all the more remarkable, but to come first for the fifth year in a row is absolutely phenomenal,” said Claire Byers, coach and PE teacher.
The Tadcaster squad were awarded the shield at Leeds Grammar School by special guest Oliver Dingley, Britain’s Commonwealth diver and Olympic hopeful.
Sixth-form students Oliver Earl and Jordan Foster have figured in all five of the successes.
