Lyndhurst School land Humberside hockey title

YOUNGSTERS from Pocklington’s Lyndhurst School are flying the flag in the England Hockey Schools’ In2Hockey Championships.

The Lyndhurst under-11s girls’ team are pictured after coming top in the second round of the tournament, making them champions of the Humberside area.

The pupils have now qualified for the regional round of the competition. The next matches will be played in April.

The team comprises Emma Bond, Livia Dytham, India Esa, Emma Falkingham, Millie Goode, Emma Hanley, Ellie Summers and Sophie Sweeting, who are all pictured with coach David Tyrrell.
