PUPILS from Pocklington’s Lyndhurst School monopolised the North Yorkshire School’s Annual Cross Country at St Martin’s in Ampleforth.
The school’s under-11 girls won the team tournament and also took the top four individual placings.
Sophie Sweeting came first, Tinky Crossley second, Miki Crossley third and Tily Rennison fourth. Holly Moseley completed the team, finishing 26th.
The U11 boys – including Charlie Laudage, Josh Longthorp, Oakley Brown, Oliver Melville, Cameron Melville, Oliver Robinson, Sam Noble and William Wright – were third in the team event. The highest placed Lyndhurst boys were Charlie Laudage and Josh Longthorp in joint 13th.
