MAXIMUM potential was realised by Team Jorvik swimmer Max Nozedar in the North Eastern regional swimming championships at Sunderland.
The 15-year-old Max achieved qualifying times for the junior open events in the 50 metres freestyle, backstroke and butterfly, and also the 100m freestyle.
Putting in additional training sessions prior to the championships paid off with Nozedar achieving a full set of personal bests.
His best result was taking nearly a full second off his previous top time for the 50m backstroke.
Meanwhile, Jack Dorland (11) and Alistair Cooper (12) were enjoying similar success at the Sheffield Snow Frills Gala at Ponds Forge.
Both entered 100m and 200m freestyle, 100m and 200m backstroke and the 200m individual medley and each gained pbs in all.
Dorland was fifth in the 200m backstroke and Cooper fourth in the 200m individual medley.
Cooper also competed in the 100m and 200m butterfly, gaining a bronze medal in the latter.
The duo also notched Yorkshire qualifying times for the long-course meet in February next year.
