GREAT Britain star Jo Ellis gave a hockey masterclass to youngsters in York.
The 29-year-old, who has won 24 GB caps, was at The Mount School in the city to offer tips and hints as part of an Activate Sport Hockey Masterclass.
The Mount School event was one of seven academies held in seven locations across the UK over the October half-term, aimed at children aged between seven and 16.
The specialist training days were created by GB defender Crista Cullen to help improve the game of experienced players and to provide an introduction for beginners.
