NORTH Yorkshire’s young showjumper Connie Gill retained the National 138cm Championship title.
Gill, 11, from Northallerton, riding her father Ian’s 13-year-old bay gelding Dycott Masterman, kept the Great Coffee National 138cm crown.
“I’m so glad we bought this pony,” said a delighted Gill. “Masterman’s got a huge stride. I could gallop and take strides out (in distances).”
The championship was part of the Alexanders Horseboxes British Showjumping SCOPE Festival.
