HOSTS St Olave’s School have retained their York & Selby Under-12s Netball Tournament title.
St Olave’s topped group one by scoring an impressive 64 goals and only conceding two.
That got them into the semifinals, where they took on group two runners-up Manor.
In the other semi-final, group two winners Joseph Rowntree were paired with group one runners-up Fulford.
St Olave’s and Joseph Rowntree came through their matches to meet in the final, which Saints won 11-4.
The centre court trio of Elicia Race, Lily Williams and Hannah Aubrey dominated, and the accuracy and movement of shooters Katie Bonner and captain Maddie Wylie proved too much for Jo Ro.
On the adjacent court, St Olave’s ‘B’ dominated their group without dropping any points, beat York High in the last four and then Joseph Rowntree in the final.
