PROFESSIONAL rugby union players from Leeds Carnegie are making their second visit of the summer to North Yorkshire.

The Headingley club staged a rugby camp at York RUFC ’s Clifton Park base earlier this month.

Now the club’s coaching team are preparing for a three-day camp at Selby RUFC’s Sandhill Lane ground next week.

Each camp is attended by Leeds Carnegie players, who pass on their rugby experience and skills to the children.

A Leeds spokesman said: “Leeds Carnegie are extremely proud of the reputation the community team have built over recent years.”

They will be in Selby on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday of next week with a group of six to 14-year-olds.

The cost of the three days is £60 and places can be booked by visiting the website www.leedscarnegie.com/camps
