Top U11 football teams to battle it out at Bootham Crescent

YORK’S top two under-11 teams will do battle at Bootham Crescent on Thursday.
Poppleton Tigers and Fulford meet in the Ryedale League Cup final during the latest instalment of a growing rivalry.
The Tigers, managed by former York City midfielder Christian Fox, have finished league champions for the last two seasons with Fulford runners-up on both occasions.
But Fulford won the title the season before that and will be keen to put on a good display for new sponsors and kit suppliers Garbutt and Elliot.
Kick off is at 7.30pm with admission £3 for adults and £1 for children.
