Harrogate Town keep up the pressure on U19s leaders

HARROGATE Town maintained their faint hopes of overhauling York FA Under-19s Football League leaders Rawcliffe with back-to-back wins.

The second-placed side are six points adrift of Rawcliffe after beating visitors Easingwold 6-2 and Rawcliffe Rangers 5-1 at home.

Easingwold Town were also beaten 2-1 by Elvington Harriers, whose third success of the season moved them off the bottom of the table.

Copmanthorpe thrashed Poppleton 9-1 and Thorpe United went down 2-0 at home to third-placed Harrogate Railway.
